Acoustic Louvres

Acoustic weather louvreAmbient air is used wherever possible as a cooling medium to ventilate building and equipment due to the low operation costs as no expensive mechanical climate control equipment is required. However, to ventilate such areas, problems arise when installing acoustic louvres in wall or roof apertures with noise breakout from equipment to the immediate area. Acoustic louvres provide, in addition to noise reduction, weather protection and can also be fitted with insect or birdmesh screens or air filters required to reduce the ingress of dust or contaminants into the area. These louvres are available in a wide range of sizes, shapes and materials from powder coated finishes, plastisol coated steel finishes, stainless steels or plastic materials for particularly harsh environment.

The louvre design is specific to air volume requirements and noise reduction and have guaranteed noise reduction performance characteristics.
